Born in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Trudy Ellen Golley RCA is an internationally exhibited, award-winning ceramic artist who completed her undergraduate training at the Alberta College of Art & Design and the University of Calgary (BFA), and her graduate studies at the University of Tasmania, Hobart, Australia (MFA). Inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 2002, Golley is currently the head of Ceramics and an instructor in the Visual Arts Department at Red Deer College (www.rdc.ab.ca). :: current cv
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Paul W. Leathers RCA is an internationally exhibited, award-winning studio metalsmith who completed his undergraduate training at Sheridan College's School of Crafts & Design (Dip.A.A.) and the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (BFA), and his graduate studies at the University of Calgary (MFA). Inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 2006, Leathers has headed metalsmithing departments in Manitoba and British Columbia and currently maintains his studio practice in Red Deer, Alberta. :: current cv

Ceramists' Study Tour to China

Trudy will co-chaperone a group of ceramists to China in the Spring of 2013. The itinerary will include the museums of Shanghai, a hands-on exploration of various porcelain techniques in residence at the PWS Experimental Factory, Jingdezhen, side trips to YaoLi and GaoLin mountain, and a visit to the terra cotta warriors in Xian.
